Industrial rock（工业摇滚）：一种将工业音乐的冷硬电子音色（合成器、采样、机械节拍、噪音质感）与摇滚的吉他/贝斯/鼓及更直接的歌曲结构结合起来的音乐风格。常见于20世纪80年代末至90年代的另类音乐语境中。（在更重型的走向上也常与 industrial metal 相邻。）
